This sand scoop only weighs about 1-1/4 pounds. The aluminum basket has 5/8" diameter holes punched into the sides and the back. The basket is 5" in diameter by 7" in length. The anodized aluminum handle is welded to the top of the basket. The upper half of the handle has 4 holes for adjusting it's length and topped off with a comfortable rubber grip. The handle length can be adjusted from 26" - 32" in length. This sand scoop is designed for dry sand hunting only, it is not made for water hunting.
