Q: Can I return an item for a Refund?
A: All metal detectors and accessories that we sell are brand new. Any detector or accessory that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship must be returned to the Manufacturer's Factory for repair or replacement, as per instructions and requirements from the manufacturer. For more info see "Returns" below.

Bonus Items: Bonus items that we give away are items that we sell. Unlike some other dealers, Colonial Metal Detectors doesn't buy bulk, cheap, no-name items to stick a high retail price on and then offer them to you as a free bonus. There is only one party getting a bonus in that deal.

Shipping

Books: All Books are shipped Free. Books will usually ship seperate from the rest of the order
USPS Media mail. Occasionally smaller books may ship with the remainder of the order.

Free Shipping: All Metal Detectors will be shipped using UPS. Smaller items designated for Free Shipping (ie. Headphones,
Pinpointers....) will ship USPS Priority mail. Items shipped Free to customers having a P.O. box will always be shipped USPS
mail. Books and coin albums will ship USPS Media or First Class mail. If you need your item fast we also provide Express
mail shipping at low rates.

International Shipping

Q:What other Countries do you ship to?
A: We ship to most countries that do not have trade sanctions in place with the United States.

Q: Does Free Shipping apply to International shipping?
A: No. But items designated as Free shipping are shipped at a discounted rate.

Q: Will I be able to purchase any product if I live in a non-sanctioned country.
A: Some manufacturers have restrictions on the selling of their products outside the United States, Tesoro products for example. Though most of the products we sell are eligible to ship outside the U.S. some items are not.
If you are interested In purchasing any item(s) please Email us at International@ColonialMetalDetectors.com and include the items you want to purchase and country to which they will ship and we will send you an invoice with the total cost including the shipping. With the exception of Canada, items shipped outside the U.S. are shipped using USPS Express mail International.

International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Credit Cards
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks
We accept money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashier’s check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be ordered in a variety of increments between $25.00 and $500.00. All gift certificates are electronic and can only be delivered via e-mail. Gift certificates are not taxed and there are no shipping charges for sending them. The buyer may then choose to send the gift certificate via email to themselves or another individual.

Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases and redemptions of gift certificates purchased or used in any manner on our Web site:

1. Gift Certificates can only be redeemed on the site purchased.
2. Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash, are not transferable to orders already placed, and cannot be redeemed for other Gift Certificates.
3. Sales tax will not be charged on the purchase of a Gift Certificates. Sales tax, if applicable, will be charged on items purchased using a Gift Certificate.
4. Discounts cannot be applied towards the purchase of a gift certificate.

Buying a Gift Certificate
You can purchase a gift certificate on our site just as you can any other item. After selecting the appropriate one, place it in the shopping cart and proceed through the order process.

Returns
We believe that you will be delighted with your product, but there may be occasions when you feel it necessary to return an item.

All metal detectors and metal detecting accessories we sell are brand new. Any products found to be defective in materials or workmanship must be returned to the Manufacturer's Factory for repair or replacement, as per instructions and requirements from the manufacturer.
If for any reason, other than described above and for up to 7 days of delivery, you are not satisfied with your new detector or accessory you may return the item along with the Blank Warranty Card, if applicable, for a Refund or Credit minus the original shipping costs.The original shipping cost are what we paid to have the item shipped to you. The original shipping cost may differ from the shipping cost listed for the item (for example - Free Shipping and discounted shipping).

When returning an item for refund or credit all bonus and or promotional items included in the purchase of the item being returned must be returned along with it.  Failure to return any bonus/promotional items in New Unused Condition will result in a charge for the retail value of the bonus/promotional item.

Please understand that all returns must be in New Unused Condition in the Original Factory Package. All detectors and/or accessories must be clean and in proper operating condition, NOT ALTERED OR DAMAGED. We will not accept returns that have been damaged or have visible signs of use. If the detector or accessory is returned without a Warranty Card or the Warranty Card has been filled out, you will receive a refund or credit minus 10% of the purchase price. Return shipping and insurance are the buyer's responsibility. The buyer is also responsible for shipping and insurance of any new replacement unit. You must contact us for a return authorization number before returning an item. We will refund/credit you on all non-damaged fully intact detectors and accessories with a Blank Warranty Card minus the original shipping costs. We Do Not charge a restocking fee.

Out-of-Stock Products
We do not back order any items. If an item you want is not in stock you can contact us using the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page and we will notify you when the item is back in stock.

Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price
