Digging
for Gold in swimming areas has never been so efficient!
Don't
be fooled by lesser products. We have perfected the design of the
Stealth and while imitation is the highest form of flattery, there
are problems with the knock-offs built by other suppliers. Some of
these scoops use a square handle that you purchase separately and
attach to their scoop. The Stealth comes with a round handle attached
to the midpoint of the scoop.
It's
hard to explain but the handle on the back of a scoop makes it very
unstable when you dig. When you push with your foot the scoop wants
to go sideways and not straight forward. I made a proto-type with
this concept about 10 years ago and it was horrible and you will never
see a Stealth scoop with this design. When a square handle is inserted
there is clearance and this creates too much play which does not give
you a nice solid feel. Drilling holes in the handle establishes a
weak spot where the handle often cracks.
The
square handle is very difficult to grip and when you work a beach
for hours you need the most effective and comfortable design available
which can mean the difference from finding that extra band for the
day valued at $240 - $450 with gold at a wonderful $1400 an oz.
