on this forum, i wrote the following :
I just received my order from Rich, after a bit of back and forth banter
on recommendations etc and some of it was on a Sunday ;) i ordered on
the 10th their time, it was shipped same day and i just picked it up
from the post office on the 15th.
Excellent packaging, probably the best ive experienced actually, the
2 sets of Gray Ghosts were surrounded with bubble wrap and in separate
boxes and the Stealth Classic scoop was packaged nicely with plenty
of packing to fill the voids.
I
would'nt hesitate purchasing from Rich again, he gave me a discount
on the shipping as he did in some of the posts above and also discounted
the second set of headphones.

After an exhaustive amount of research I decided to order a Fisher F2
for my first metal detector. Looking for the best deal I called numerous
dealers and found their prices to be quite competitive with each other.
One dealer had the entire package however, and that was Rich at Colonial
Metal Detectors!
First and foremost, Rich was a great guy to talk to and answered every
question I had. This meant a great deal to me as a beginner. I must
have called him 5 times before I even ordered the detector and he was
always very personable and helpful. When It came time to order he set
me up with a Fisher F2 package that no other dealer could touch!
I ordered the detector late on a Tuesday evening and received it on
Friday! Just in time for me to give the machine a thorough workout on
Saturday. Everything was packaged wonderfully with plenty of bubble
wrap to protect the contents.
Rich is a true professional and runs his business in the exact same
manner. He gets my highest recommendation.

I wanted you to know I received my order today and everything arrived
in good shape. This is my first metal detector (I went metal detecting
with a friend a long time ago and am just now getting my own detector)
and everything went smoothly. I followed the directions to set up my detector,
went outside in my back yard and ground balanced the machine. After only
a couple of sweeps I had a target which turned out to be a penny about
4 inches in the ground! I was able to play around for a little under an
hour before a big storm forced me inside, but in that hour I found a nickle,
another penny (buried at about 10 inches) and a set of keys (to what,
I do not know)! I also found some trash, the most impressive of which
was a small piece of rusty wire buried over 12" in the ground. I
am very pleased with my Vaquero! Thank you for the fast and trouble free
service!

I wanted in my hands and service I deserved , it turns out they're not

wanted to let you know that my wife and I love the new detector. I appreciate
the time you took with me on the phone last week, and the advise and
suggestions that you gave me. The 250 does seem like a very solidly
built instrument, and combining that with the Propointer, we're finding
targets and digging them up in no time flat.
Although
the 250 is a "beginners' tool, it is a huge step up from the Bounty
Hunter we were using.
