I just put a post up in a thread on a forum over here but its awaiting approval from a mod so i will copy and paste, you have a nice following on this forum, i wrote the following :
I just received my order from Rich, after a bit of back and forth banter on recommendations etc and some of it was on a Sunday ;) i ordered on the 10th their time, it was shipped same day and i just picked it up from the post office on the 15th.
Excellent packaging, probably the best ive experienced actually, the 2 sets of Gray Ghosts were surrounded with bubble wrap and in separate boxes and the Stealth Classic scoop was packaged nicely with plenty of packing to fill the voids.

I would'nt hesitate purchasing from Rich again, he gave me a discount on the shipping as he did in some of the posts above and also discounted the second set of headphones.

After an exhaustive amount of research I decided to order a Fisher F2 for my first metal detector. Looking for the best deal I called numerous dealers and found their prices to be quite competitive with each other. One dealer had the entire package however, and that was Rich at Colonial Metal Detectors!

First and foremost, Rich was a great guy to talk to and answered every question I had. This meant a great deal to me as a beginner. I must have called him 5 times before I even ordered the detector and he was always very personable and helpful. When It came time to order he set me up with a Fisher F2 package that no other dealer could touch!

I ordered the detector late on a Tuesday evening and received it on Friday! Just in time for me to give the machine a thorough workout on Saturday. Everything was packaged wonderfully with plenty of bubble wrap to protect the contents.

Rich is a true professional and runs his business in the exact same manner. He gets my highest recommendation.

Just wanted you to know how pleased I am with my whole purchase experience recently.
First, Rich sent a prompt and friendly reply to my questions on getting the right tool for the job. It was clear his concern was for me to have the information needed to choose exactly the right product. Just a few days later I have a carefully packed box thats traveled 3000 miles with my MD goodies inside. Fantastic, time to go hunting! You guys are GREAT !

In the past, I was lured into a metal detectors 'superstore' operation online because they advertise everywhere, have a flashy web site, and appear to be best on prices. Well... their experts turned out to be salesmen that knew less about the product (Fisher F70) than I did! When I add up all the time I spent with them to actually get the product I wanted in my hands and service I deserved , it turns out they're not such a good deal after all.

Just wanted to let you know that my wife and I love the new detector. I appreciate the time you took with me on the phone last week, and the advise and suggestions that you gave me. The 250 does seem like a very solidly built instrument, and combining that with the Propointer, we're finding targets and digging them up in no time flat.

Although the 250 is a "beginners' tool, it is a huge step up from the Bounty Hunter we were using.
