Colonial has the Lowest prices on the GoFind series detectors anywhere. I paid $129 and now it's even cheaper at $117 on sale... The GoFind 20 is actually pretty impressive at finding targets, but it is pretty basic and very few adjustments. There is a few questionable design flaws with how the Upper Arm telescopes and locks in place, because its just little plastic notches and eventually these little notches will wear down and you'll no longer be able adjust it properly and will have trouble keeping it in place. Although at this price point and for what it is it is pretty impressive. Just be careful and don't abuse it and it should last a good while. It's a GREAT first detector for your children and even a backup detector for experienced hunters. It's about as compact as you can get and definitely easy to put in a backpack or put under your car seat to take with you everywhere you go for those sudden urges to detect. I got this for my nephews to see if they would be interested in detecting and with no experience at all detecting they were finding things in just a couple minutes... I wish I would have gotten the 40 or 60 with more features, but for the cost I don't believe you can beat the GoFind Series and the GoFind 20 is as easy and basic as it gets. I'm very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend the GoFind 20 to others, especially at Colonial's low prices... NOBODY that I've found has even come close to offering these units for these lower prices. I searched dozens of websites and Colonial's prices on the GoFind Series cant be beat~!
I gave it 4 stars only because of how the upper arm adjusts with the little plastic notches and afraid it will eventually wear down and cause problems staying in place~!
