I like it...
I'm pretty impressed. First thing you do when you get a new piece of gear is to go try it in your own yard. Consequently, our yards tend to be hunted out. This new coil I got is the bomb. Found all this in about 30 minutes. I've been hunting this yard with various detectors over the last 16 years. That includes my Simplex with standard coil.

SP24 coil
Ordered this coil to get in tighter places than I could with the stock coil on the Simplex+. I mostly have been hunting parks and I very much like this coil for that. I run it full sensitivity and have no problems doing that. Very nice additional coil to have. Do recommend if you are hunting trashy and or places with a lot of things to detect around. Great service from Colonial, shipped quick and if I remember right it arrived one day before scheduled delivery.

Awesome upgrade
I use the Simplex mainly in parks for hunting clad. The smaller coil has made a huge improvement. Overall the machine is much more stable. I find it to have much less chatter even running maxed out. Separation is much better in trashy areas and it seems to have improved the VDI stability on coins. I’ve mostly been digging shallow clad so I cannot say much about overall depth, but testing it originally in my yard I was able to dig targets at 6 inches no problem. The coil is constructed very well and feels great to swing . maneuvers well in tight areas.
