Vortex 6” x 11” DD Viper Searchcoil
This narrow DD-format coil provides excellent maneuverability, target separation, and depth. Fully submersible to 16 feet. Weight approximately 1.3 lbs. Includes protective searchcoil cover. Narrow footprint allows great maneuverability but its 11” length allows the Viper to cover plenty of ground in the open field. Provides great detection depth.

Note: Updating your Vortex detector to the latest firmware version i critical in order to insure proper coil performance and accurate Target ID. The current firmware for each detector is as follows: Firmware 5.02 or higher for VX5; Firmware 7.02 or higher for VX7; Firmware 9.09 or higher for VX9.
Note: Vortex searchcoils have a unique waterproof connector and are not compatible with other Garrett detectors.
