Amazing product with great versatility
This Nokta Makro Pulsedive Is phenomenal! It has so many features that are very well thought out, and Its very ergonomic. It has 5 sensitivity levels, and a l.e.d. flashlight that can be turned on or off. Its has adjustable functions, like red l.e.d. flasher plus sound and vibrate. You can select different functions like sound-vibrate-red flasher, sound-flasher only, or no sound-vibrate-flasher. You can also shut off the red l.e.d. off for sound-vibrate only, sound only, or vibrate only. It also has a diver lockout mode in which you hold it upside down while pressing "F" for function and "A" for adjust at the same time to lockout the buttons for pressure/depth. The 4"/5" round coil has a coil cover and will easily pick up targets at 4"-6" and now they even make a bigger "8 coil as a option. In pin pointer mode its awesome and has a protective cover for coil. It Is a little bigger or more substantial than say the garrett carrot but Its fine. It comes with a great waterproof travel case that has everything you need, like Pin-pointer and dive coil, coil covers, dust cap, Instructions, charge cord, extra "o"rings/seals, bracelet (for diving), lanyard, two rear caps (1 land, 1 dive) and a holster. The coil not being used has a dust cap, and there is a rubber bracelet and lanyard for diving and the lanyard also attaches to the holster. It comes with extra seals, "o" rings and a rear cap for land use. The extra rear cap allows it to be louder for land use with speaker holes that have a membrane Inside. This cap Is water resistant or rain proof but not submersible. The rear cap that's solid (no holes) is for diving. It has a Internal battery and comes about half charged (proper lithium storage) and charges with (oddly) a micro usb. A type "c" fast charge type plug/jack would've been preferred. From 50% I believe it took a couple hours to full charge. When turning the unit on, It gives you the state of charge using the Green/red l.e.d.s. Both green and red l.e.d. means full, where as just the green means 50% and just the red l.e.d., is battery low. Its a amazing product and Im thinking about buying another. The only Issue or annoyances I have are 1: sometimes It sets off my Equinox with chatter, and 2: The holster, although nice, has belt loops and a aluminum clip that's riveted and not really removable without damaging the holster. The clip has sharp edges that Interfere with using the holsters belt loops and tends to slip right off my pouch or utility belt.
